Am I the only one with a key, but not a client?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Its true, i have a key. But no matter how hard I try, I can't get the damn client to work. I keep getting and "Update failed" error at 99.9%  >: 

 

So now i,m re downloading and re patching this stupid thing :D yay meeeee

 

 

Anyone know how to make sure it works this time? lol
