Ok it first was a yellow cricle with a sword and shield

Now it turned red, what is going on... I have seen it on different classes, the text when you hover over it is in japanese

It's for overall damage to your gear. Yellow at 50% and red is 25 I believe.

I think it has something to do with your equipment being damaged and needing to be repaired.

by the way, the repair system is probably the stupidest thing about the whole game. unless you are a disciple of the hand you cant repair it yourself, and the npcs that repair can only go to 50% (had mine repaired, and its still a red icon).. now nobody has learned how to repair yet.. i mean comon, what company is developing this game? i have a hard time beleving its NOT sony because nothing about this game makes ANY sense.

Repairs are quite easy actually, if you click on the item in your inventory it will tell you what item is needed to repair it.

 

You can also put the item on your retainer along with some gil to be repaired while you are offline.

so i've ran across two towns and not found the whatever stick i need to repair, that is not easy, considering its just repairs. it hsouldnt be a wild goose hunt just to repair.

One who actually want people to play the game, damaged goods is a key to having a good economy. Surely you should know this right ? Uhm well maybe not.

it's called a learning curve , it is a shame it is not paint by numbers .... I really hate it when i have to actually play a game , they should have instant repair crystal that i can buy. In fact Teleport and experience crystals should be available as well.
