Repairing

Ok so I found the npc that repairs stuff for me but he only repairs things back to 50%

I want to get to 100%...

So i look at my pugilists weapons, it needs a bone chip to repair, i have a bone chip in inventory...

I switch my class to blacksmith, chose inventory, look at my pugilist gloves click repair, and it doesnt repair them

 

So how in the world do you repair your own stuff, i know im missing a step

(or has no one figured this out yet)

Ok so its goldsmith for hand to hand repairs, thanks for the answers (got from another thread)
