Is this worth playing yet?

I know you guys have probably answerd this 20000000000000000000000 times and im sorry for that but im struggling at the moment to decide on an mmorpg to play, i tried this in beta and really enjoyed it the only thing that bugged me was the insane prices on items, have these gone down at all or are they ever going to and could someone actually explain why NC cant take them down as it makes no sence to me. Anyways im blabbing on just want your honest opinions on this game and if its worth playing or not.

I do like PvP so i guess thats a start point.

nope, item prices are still and will remain high... that's simply part of the grind =/

if you dont think you can handle farming 16 hours a day for 3 days straight for that new bow (which i've done), then you might want to look elsewhere...

it's a good game, but ONLY if you can actually handle it... casual gaming non-pvp'ers will most likely not like L2... on the other hand, hardcore grinding PvP'ers (like i used to be) will most likely find L2 fun...

i was having a great time in L2 when i did play, but i eventually found myself dedicating less and less time to the game (with things like work, school, and friends getting in the way) so decided to quit...
