I envy everyone who has the game already. Im a poor 15 year old without a job and im desperately waiting for christmas to come so I can open up my gift and pull out my WoW box in all its glory. :( This is gonna be the longest 20 days of my entire life.

    I am a poor 14 year old. I begged and pleaded and made deals with my parents all the way up to the ride to Wal-Mart just asking...really begging for them to get me the game. As soon as we got into the store, I made a bee-line to the Computer Software section of the store, got the game and went back to my mom with my sad face on...
    They can't turn down the sad face! I got the game, and I owe my dad 20-some-odd dollars. It's worth it, though, and you'll enjoy it when you get the game.

    I am going to play EQ2. Im saying I can relate to the original poster, time goes by so slow when you are anticipating something.

    I think both WoW and EQ2 is pretty flameproof by now anyways Otto.

    And it really sux to wait for something, especially when you don't know when it'll be available for you.

    Heh, I stopped by the EQ2 forums once, and that was to defend you (back in your WoW fanboy days) so lock your lips.

    Flame/Blame/Whatever, that's hardly the point I'm driving at. I'm merely wondering why he's even here at all, as if he had something constructive to say aside from: "I know how you feel, hold my hand, Elves are awesome" and so on.

    It just irks me that we have this lost little puppy running around our forums yapping nonsense and begging for a pat on the head. I'd much rather deliver him a swift boot to the ribs and send him yelping elsewhere.

    And as for the origional poster.. 20 days is not so bad! The whole EU community (over 300k people I estimate) are waiting for the beta and the release of WoW in the EU. The release won't be untill next year!!

    Christmas will get there.. and so will your copy of WoW!

    Hey man. I feel your pain. Same thing with me except I dont got money haha i'm only 14 so X-Mas is going to be grand. Its all good man just hang in there.

     

    P.S. dude just remember this...we dont have to worry bout the laggy servers at the start-off...hahaha we gotta try and find some positives in waiting!!!

    I'd hardly say that garnering the respect of people on the Internet is one of my priorities in life, but thanks for the post.

    Regardless, my real question here is why we have the WoW/EQII village idiot drifting around these forums. Granted, I have no authority to deny him the ability to do this, I honestly wonder what the choice behind this behavior is. If I don't like a game, I don't go to the forums of said game and "hang out" offering useless banter. This, especially if I was criticizing the game as well as its community a few weeks prior.

    I am more than willing to be proven wrong here, so let's afford the kid with the opportunity to do so:

    Please fight wars using the site's mail system, instead of public threads.
    Personally I don't know how the moderators could've let this thread get so far off of the topic, and I don't understand why they did not remove posts with curses such like wishes for someone's loved ones to die.

    And Otto, anyone is allowed to hang out on these boards. That includes people who have no interest whatsoever in WoW or perhaps even hate it. They do not need to supply you their reason for being here, nor do they need to say anything useful about the game or give their oppinion about any aspect of the game.

    The first post 9216544 made in this thread was on topic and added value to this thread. Next time before you reply please think a little harder about what you post.
    Some moderators get you permanently banned for such replies. I suppose MMORPG.com doesn't. Your luck.

    If you have a problem with me, dont critisize me in a public forum and change the meaning of this thread. You seem to like to make all threads end up in a flame war. If you want to talk, add me to your MSN IM list and Ill be happy to talk to you there.

    I remember you on several occasions bashing EQ2 at the EQ2 forums. So before you critisize me, stop being a hipocrit.

    I have a right to be here, as do you. I think you need to stop being so negative to people and maybe try being nice for a change, no one likes an a$$hole. If you wish for my friends or someone close to die, then I think you have a very large mental problem on your hands. Try anger management.

    Uhhh... IIRL if your friend really was killed, and you were that traumatized... then you wouldnt be mentioning it and describing it like that.... just so you know. (Im taking Psychology right now) And I CANT WAIT!! EVen though the WoW pvp system is kinda cracked out, it still sounds awesome. (With the battle grounds and stuff). Plus, the fact that so many new MMO's ive been disapointed in (FFXI, SWQ, DAoC) I just cant wait.

    And many of you are saying, "WAIT!! if you dont like DAoC then you definately wont like WoW." But thats not true, the only reason i didnt like DAoC was the lack of characters under lvl 20. It was impossible to level up by myself and i lost patience.
