Looking for active SG on any server

I would have posted this in the supergroup forum, but that gets little activity.

I'm looking for an active SG on any server.  I actually played COH in the alpha, but that was long ago.  I've played off and on over the years, though the birth of my son interrupted a lot of playtime.  I'm yappy and very happy to help with any missions.

Looking for a community of people who actually play.

Cheers!

You will likely get a better response posting on a specific server section of the CoH forums (boards.cityofheroes.com)

Try freedom and virtue, they will be your best bet for active sg's even after this next 6 months of the going rouge effect.

Just join any SG that has a base with all the amenities you need. As for grouping on CoH, PUGs are where it's at. If you were to only rely on fellow SG members for grouping and chat you'd be severely limiting your possible interactions in game. Your SG members are merely there to supplement the amount of people you can possibly play with. Remember not every player is in a SG.

I haven't joined a SG yet and have just been joining PUGs. In fact, I'm not seeing the benefits of a SG. Are there any?

Teleporter access would be the number 1 reason.  Assuming they are flexible with their salvage and enhancement bins, then that would be a very good reason also.

Teleportation and a workbench for crafting are the main things I see as necessary reasons to join a SG. I like being able to run from the AH to the SG workbench and back very quickly. But again it doesn't matter if the SG is active as PUGs are better ways to group up fast.
