Mouse Lag Fix - a REAL one

This can finally shut ALL of you up who are constantly complaining about the Mouse Lag.
First, its a fix, second it shows that SE is working on the issue behind the scenes. Anyway, use at your own discretion of course, but there ya go. Now you can go back to whining ONLY about the fatigue system.

I did, but I'm not used to putting the stupid [url] brackets in. Anyway, it's fixed now, sorry about that.
Actually elocke, you will notice that the fatigue system saw a notable, actually a complete disapearance on these forums because its effects are negligible. The trolls and poopsocks are just crying about whatever will bring the most attention in the moment, but once the game comes out we won't have to deal with them, cause they have professed to not be playing it. WooT!

hehe, I know. Personally I know the fatigue system won't ever affect me because I don't have issues with changing classes.
@Tedronai, griping about hacking, if you read the post it states that SE put in a "hidden" code in the patch to change the mouse cursor. Which means they are working on it. This "hack" is for the short term, obviously. Got any more negativity to throw our way?
Haha the constant hate on this game after open bet opened got me kinda interested...maybe Ill even DL the client to see how bad things are lol:D
I think I actually spent way more time reading and theorycrafting about MMOs than playing them
It's not a hack he just opened ffxiv system file or something like that and turned an option from false to true and poof hardware mouse.
Maybe SE didn't turn it on yet because it's not 100% working dunno but it shows that it's nearly complete there's even a youtube video showing it and it moves like a normal mouse.
Even I understood that lol. I thought at first "ugh people hacking to get the mouse to work, not cool" and then I went. "Oh wait!" SE has it in there! So they must mean to let everyone know soon, tat they have implemented it"
LOL to people giving the hacker any more credit then he is due though, he just unlocked what SE wrote. Obviously SE has heard its community.

I didnt mean "hack" in the sense you obviously think about, think it was kind of obvious. But sure, changing of intended game play by altering game configuration files to do something that should have been there from the start then.

It's an encouraging sign, as (according to the guy that wrote that fix) that hardware mouse actually is in the game but simply is disabled for whatever debugging reason but I'll wait for the fix that doesn't break the patching process unless you remove it.
How can I be assured it doesnt have a trojan hidden in it? Im only somewhat computer literate but I think standard virus checkers are no protection against the user consciously installing something from an unknown 3rd party.
Look hardware mouse will be in just like FFXI. Just like some people have said through all of this. The point is those that are really bitching don't care if it is in or not. It is just something else for them to get their panties in a bunch about. They aren't going to play. They are going to troll about whatever is the hot topic. Welcome to mmorpg.com.

Some people really like to hate on games or people that like said games here and spout out exaggerations/lies all the time.
You can't, but its safe.
I'm hesitant about this, it can mess up your install file completely.

Calm down / testy et cetera is in reference to whatever someone says here, someone else will always come bashing out on either the way the person said it. That they have misunderstood something, that they don't understand how the game is designed or whatever.
It's not important really, just let people express their opinions. Like: the mouse control in this game sux, it sux that they havent implemented a hardware mouse. Yep it sure does, but it's a great ff game!
But you always end up insulting other people anyway, calling them poopsocks or whatever other comment a 9 year old would come up with. (or an old eq player)

Where the fuck has Square-Enix said they're gonna implement hardware mouse? Give me a link I'll buy the fucking game.
There was an interview a while back. Sorry I don't bookmark them all or anything. They basically said they are working on hardware mouse, but it won't be in at launch and wasn't a huge priority at the time due to UI lag being largely addressed and something about logging and debugging causing extra lag. I think they were hoping that their fixes would make it tolerable for now. They will have it in though. Sorry I can't look it up right now having too much fun with some trolls in some other posts. =D
If anything just wait if you are interested until they add it. If not launch then it will prob only be a few months out. Maybe try Cataclysm or even wait for SWTOR then visit FFXIV down the road. You never know you might find something great like I did with FFXI and XIV.
If the shoe fits dollface. And I have had about enough hearing "credible" criticisms of a game in beta. Its just low and just because you are bitter and jaded, doesnt mean we should have to listen to you drone on with your drivel.

Completely understood, hence my disclaimer: Use at your own discretion.
I don't plan on using it personally, because I am using my PS3 controller and the game plays Great, but for others who are so vocal about this issue, I just wanted to point out what's being done on the community side and on the developers side.
For the rest, even those supportive of the game, let's not resort to any type of name calling, and just have good, honest discussions/debates. A modicum of tolerance/patience goes a long way.
