Fiona's Amaranth kick can destroy the trap before it hits anyone, if you can manage to land the kick before anyone does anything stupid. Or there's a hole on the right side of the wall that allows you to evade it. You can also Heavy Stander it, if you want to take the durability hit on your shield.
Mabinogi Heroes has PvP, thus Vindictus will have PvP. The purpose is unknown and the game is capture the flag. I know you can't use SP skills in the "BG", but I'm not sure what other limitations there are.
The skills aren't all completely balanced, some skills are entirely useless infact. For example "Meditation", which actually hinders your progress big time if you put points into it.
I can see myself playing this game for at least a year, without getting burnt out.
Although random grouping has potential for massive griefing, we'll see how big of a deal it will be when the game goes live.
My only issue is that the NEXON lable has scared off a few of my friends, not to mention seeded my mind with doubt. Hopefully I don't end up paying $20 a month for a "F2P" game.
You can find more information about the game on other sites like youtube, mabination, and the wiki of course. The site is very... well it's about as useful as their facebook page. As are the mainsite forums. Nothing but ignorance, whining, and betakey chaining.
Also like all other source games, there's an ingame voip function. So that should be interesting.
My first Nexon game was NexusTK the kingdom of winds. I guess they sold that game to some other company or whatever. It was not Free 2 play, it cost about 10 dollars a month if not more. Can't remember it was so long ago. Figured Nexon would be known for bringing us that game, but meh whatever. I couldn't give a rats ass about maple story.
As far as this review goes... I seen another review from this person about another game, and it seemed very biased.
Now I played both games that were reviewed, and the difference between these games that is the most gambreaking.
One is an MMO while the other is not.
Vidictus is not a true open world MMO. Graphics may be good, combat may be awesome.
Bottom line is the game is all instanced. You hang out in a hub city and then you can get on a boat and go off to some instance. They all appear to be very similiar.
Just think it is real funny that this guy is praising this game vindictus. While in a past review bashed a game that is much better than this one, IMO.
ive been playing the game now, lvl 24 fiona and i seem to like it however the big change with tokens once we hit OB is gonna suck, but overall it has a nice gameplay that doesnt get old to me i love dynasty warrior style games hack n slash is great, esp when you can toss em around and everything is breakable. the crafting system is pretty awesome as well. no more node camping, its all gathered in instances and you dont need to pick up a profession! YAY! now its straight up the crafters are the certain npcs, forge leather worker cloth maker and all. though you will need a certain level to unlock the ability to use the plans for the forge and all those to actually learn it, and then it will become available to you to actually make. certain items such as my latest shield, i like you need to get a certain peice of armor such as a shield peice, you actually have to knock off a certain boss. which is awesome very awesome.
The game is fun... Only one thing is pissing me off... A quest that you have to get maxed and complet eveyr single mission in it to continue a series of quest. After doing the same run over 20time, I still can't get one of the mission done...
Anyhow... I can't wait till the new class come in, specially the Kai (Archer)... wonder how it gonna work.

"When it comes to GW2 any game is fair game"
It is even worse than AoC.
