Hi all, quick question here.
When you are running a leve and it asks you to invoke your guardian you spend 10 of your starting 200 points to do so. This gives you a buff called guardians aspect. Here comes the question:
Does the buff "guardians aspect" increase chances for job skill points on all mobs, or just mobs that are related to the leve? So far, I've tried to kill 5 of 6 of the leve mobs, then grind for 25 minutes on mobs in the area, thinking this would help me level faster. But, from what I can tell, I didn't seem to skill up as fast on mobs that were not part of the leve.
Pretty much just looking for a confirmation here or wondering if anyone else had tested this.
Side note: My two biggest gripes with the game, Anima regen rate and Guardian point regen rate. Both way too low. Anima would be ok if I could teleport using a crystal at 1 point cost, leaving teleporting from nowhere at 4 point cost. As it stands now, the Anima regen rate and Guardian regen rate greatly benefit those players who can only play 4-8 hours a week...
Lottery winners beware...I'm coming for you!

I've only really noticed the difference when doing the gathering leves to be honest.
Anima regen is insanely slow. It seems like 1 point a day.
Its really hard to tell because of the surplus system. I would say yes it does give a slight increase to skill ups on non leve mobs (I do the exact same thing as you kill 3/4 then grind) I wouldnt say its a lot though.
I believe it works for anything you kill during that guildleve.
I actually like the anima system as it is, while you can teleport if you need to get back to town quickly or get to a group thats far away, it's not something you want to waste for just the sake of convinence, granted you can if you want to.
That would mean they are working as intended. I think congratulations are in order, you might have found the first feature of XIV that isn't broken
