A odd error?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Well you cant really call it an error but here it goes anyway.

 

I have my SE account and everything is activated via the account management page FFXIV service activated etc.

I have the beta downloaded and installed "already tried uninstall reinstall several times"

I also have contacted SE waiting to hear back but not holding my breath lol.

 

This is the issue

Launcher pops up, I enter my information, I click login

 

"nothing" it just sits there like its not taking the log in i get no error messages or anything just nothing lol

it just sits there I even clicked log in  and let it sit for 25 mins lol "i have a higher end PC" so its not that

Im using firefox as my web browser "i doubt it has anything to do with it but just exp;loring all possibilities"

I have all versions of DX 9,10,11

Client is updated as far as I can see

Im running windows 7 crossfired 5850's with a 3.0 I7 920 processor

not really sure why it does nothing when trying to log in >.<

 

sorry if this post came up on others my web browser is being stupid and I cant see my own post lol so I made my own topic.

    Do all other games work?

    Do you have the latest video and sound driver?

    If that doesn't do it try removing one 5850 and see if that works.

    From there you can pinpoint the problem.

    Serious death penalties makes every close call an adrenaline rush, and every minor achievement a major victory. This alternative rule-set should be in all MMORPGs.

    Yes all other games work except metro 2033 that thing has been omn the fritz since i bought it lol,

     

    All drivers ARE uptodate

    I guess I can remove the card and see what the deal is but its just odd that not even an error pops up when I click Log in

    Well taking the card out didnt work neither did just disabling crossfire .... "sigh" I dont know what to do now

    reinstall windows i guess or make sure you have the newst dx

    Could be a pc network issue, honestly.

    Look up how to do a diagnose and repair on your network connection, and / or try a cmd prompt ipconfig /release all then a ipconfig /renew all and maybe even an ipconfig /flushdns .

    I don't have the time to give you more specific instructions, you should be able to google up some help on what I've told you.

    Try setting a diferent web browser as default , i used googlechrome, and like a week ago it would ask me couple of times while loading if i whanted to send info since it wasnt digital signed or whatever. I messed up a bit with the security and there was a patch soon after so im not sure if eighter i fix it or the patch did. Eighter way maybe is worth a shot at looking at for your problem( could be your geting the same pop up windows message but it doesnt show it to you becouse is turned of or somethin around those lines ?

    Other than that i have no idea.
