Maybe you can tell me this though, what do you do when all of your levees are done?
Grind, log off or explore. As most of the quests aren't in yet (due to beta(hopefully...)) there isn't much to do. There -should- be tons more quests like your starting one at release, but as it is now when you're done your leves you can craft, kill things, explore or just wait a few days. Or start another character and check out other areas, quests and guildleves.
Objectivity is delivered with a lack of personality made for the mainstream but never used for the mainstream.
Weird, yeah, I heard they turned off content. I don't understand the point of doing that in beta. I mean I know it's to be fair to people who don't get to play but OB is for everyone. To truly test the game we need to be able to try every possible situation.
It's a strange game for sure. I enjoy doing the levees and stuff, but it is not at all user friendly. I'm sure if I had a game manual or something handy it'd be much easier, so launch time it shouldn't be as much of an issue but when I first logged in I ran around the city for like 20 minutes trying to find my way out.
I also don't know how to craft. I picked up a blacksmithing levee but I don't have any means of blacksmithing, or I guess changing classes to a blacksmith.
The sleeper awakes...and rides his dirtbike to the mall.

The crafting system is very, very complex in comparison to other games. You need the tools. I think I picked up the tools I have from the stalls in Gridania (sp?), but obviously you would have merchants somewhere in the other cities. Can't think of the tools off the top of my head for blacksmithing, but an example of the cooking class it's a pan and a knife. You just equip those and then you have an action on the right side of the screen in the menu to synthesize, aka make something if you have the right items. The lack of a recipe book is abit of a issue though, but if you put the right items in the box for a recipe it will show up. I'm a little confused on the crytal/shard situation myself which is also attached to crafting.
parrotpholk-Because we all know the miracle patch fairy shows up the night before release and sprinkles magic dust on the server to make it allllll better.
