Original yet crazy idea's for the next big thing in MMO's

How bout this

an MMO called Hackers

the sever is basically setup to mimic a secure systems network

players either join the hackers or the systems defense

 

They then use what ever RL hacking programs they can get thier hands on either borrowed or written themselves, to try and damage and crash the server.

Points are awarded for success stealing of critical files, damaging files, crashing servers or the ultimate , bringin down the entire server so no one can play. Point are also awarded for finding and booting hackers, prvention of files being copies or corrupted, and ultimatly to keep the server up and running as long as possible.

 

Like I said post your nutty out there MMO idea , who knows unlike myslef you might acutally have a really good original idea that may be the next big thing

Will be just a realy empty envirement or those that try it once will go over to try hacking other stuff. So realy bad idea and what is the gaming factor here? Hacking is mostly stealth and supposed not to be trackable so forget it to give points.
