Excuse me? who are you to ask that? where have i trolled? I have been nothing but calm and polite, thanking people for clear info and adjusting my opinion positively when it has been given (even though I had to readjust it after it was shown incorrect lol). it's some of you guys that have got bent out of shape... Now you demand the thread is locked?

I said 'pretty much' the only guy, meaning obviously that there have been one or two others that have obviously got the difference as well. the repeated misunderstanding of what fluff is and the repeated requests for a definiton showed me that the vast majority didnt.
Unless you think that is you, why would this be a 'dick move' or that be taken that i was 'dissing everyone'?
Lol - your indignant facade is completely translucent. From the start of the thread, you phrased your questions in such as way as be purposely provocative. I personally explained to you several times (and so did several others) that B2P was not what you stated it was at the beginning, but you chose to ignore those posts and simply restate the same thing over and over again, hoping more would be goaded.
You didn't try to clarify what you meant by fluff items until well into the thread (actually you didn't even then) - and then put everyone down for not understanding you. You chose to make sweeping assumptions and make a big show of your "oh well *big sigh* guess I can't buy this game now can I?" based on those.
Give it a rest.
People should have to read the FAQ of a game before being able to post questions. Half of the threads on this forum could be cleaned up if people just did some basic research.

All this could have been avoided if you just defined what YOU meant by fluff so we could tell you that GW1 doesn't have that therefore GW2 is highly likely NOT to have that as well.

This isn't a discussion about this being a cash shop. The way most people refer to a cash shop, is you buy items in the store to gain an advantage (such as potions, xp, quests, armor, skills, abilities, weapons, etc), that are impossible or extremely hard to get otherwise. This is a discussion about a troll trying to egg people into fighting him over semantics.
You buy the game, you get all the content. If you spend zero dollars in that "cash shop" in GW2 (as far as we currently know, things could change down the line of course), and I spend $423, we will still be equal in terms of everything that matters. I just may look different, be colored differently, have more characters, or have a new name once a month or something.

Fluff has no effect on the content of the game, which is why it is called Fluff. It just changes the way you look. It serves no other function. As for Pets, the cost of the box includes access to all pets.
