Never played a FF game. MMOless for a year, wana share a buddy key?

in Final Fantasy XIV

I'm normally hard core PVP player but just got burned out on FPS and PVP games, just looking for a game with a great story, community, crafting PVE grouping and such. I have never played a FF game in my life, but I went to the site and while it dont say a whole lot about gameplay the world and art looked cool. I'd like to try this game but I'm not dropping $50 off the bat without every trying it. Would anyone who is getting the CE be willing to share a buddy key??  Have not tryed paly an MMO 2 months after Warhammer, befor that is was VG from release. Would like to get back into a game for winter. Can anyone hook me up? Thanks

    But I will let  you know on the buddy key thing. Didn't realize they were planning to do that with the CE.

    I read that CE copys will come with a buddy key an the main site

    The CE version does indeed come with a buddy pass, the Standard version does not... just have to wait until the 22th before we get it tho.

    Well technically he is right because the boxes with the buddy keys arent in players hands yet.

    When is this beta over? Why not try it im sure there a few days left.

    Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.
