Pre-release Party Cinematic available

The cinematic that was played at the pre-release party is now available on the FFXIV official site. I don't know when, where, or who was invited (not me) to the party but hopefully this is a sign there will be more cinematics with full audio in game. It's a great cinematic, imo. It's apparently the game's opening cinematic.

That said, yeah, it's a pretty hardcore trailer.
What is amazing about it is how well it captures how I feel when I do a guildleve. When I run for 5 minutes and then kill a handful of bugs I totally feel the same exhiliration of adventure that you see in that video.
Really!? You didn't felt exhiliration in a beta? Well, I'll be damned...
The whole thing is a presentation of things to come; The war plot between two powerfull factions.
It was but a glimpse & it delivered imo.
Don't worry. I love the game. I was just goofing around.
Well you made me chuckle.
Perhaps one day we'll jack in and experience sometihng every bit as visceral as that prerendered cutscene. Looking forward to Final Fantasy XX.
