Breaking news about Epic Patch

Taken straight from todays Q&A just moments ago;

<HenrikNystrom>	Alright, there will be an epic in Nave along with the new epic patch, I mean, it cant be called an epic patch without an epic creature right?

For those of you who don't know, Epic creatures in MO are one off bosses who remain dead forever. These creatures are controlled by Developers or GMs themselves and pose a huge challenge and reward for players.

Just in a few more weeks the world of Nave will have to face it's first major PvE challenge. Not to mention the chaotic PvP around the bosses lair

It really can't be PvE, if the boss you're fighting is controlled by a Dev or GM. Maybe if it was a computer genrated mob then yea. But having someone play the boss is basically PvP.

It is still considered pve, it's an event. Most games have this in beta's or early release.

Just FYI 

Epic is the name of the client engine that mortal online uses.  The company that's makes that engine created a patch which was released about a month ago and is being implemented by StarVault (the company that makes mortal online)

Yes, I know we sometimes use the word epic to describe the awesomeness of a new patch, but I can assure you the Epic patch were starvault implements the new epic client engine patch will be significantly more epic than previous patches.

I can't believe they said a epic creature would be in game... It totally ruin the surprise factor...  Oh well, nothing surprising..

 

Now time to see which hacker will hget his hand on it loot.

Followers of Mortal Online have known about epic creatures for over a year now.  The information that there will be epic creatures is not new.  I'm glad to see Mortal Online is taking some of the best aspects of Shadowbane and implementing it into there game.

I would rather see that fire monster with those whips of fire.  That looked awesome.

To me, it would be much, much cooler if an Epic gm controlled mob with uber loot just appeared in game without notice, fanfair, or warning. Maybe attacking a newb town. Then if nobody killed it, it would just wander off and re-appear on another date / loc, etc until some lucky group (or mob, lol) killed it.

 

Kinda like a surprise!

Probably take a lot of people to kill the Epic boss, the Greater Kimaru currently in game still hasn't been defeated even after numerous tries off many large guilds.
