Hair styles, no cloud :(

in Final Fantasy XIV

Hello there.

One thing I did notice is there are not many hair styles like the famous characters from the previous FF games.

I have read that they wil be adding more styles to hair on release, and look forward to it alot.

Fingers crossed they add a 'Cloud' style with with big spikes, or a long draping sephiroth :)

Only 3 days to go!! woop!

    I seriously hope not.

    Thank god I didn't see anyone named cloud/sephiroth in open beta and I hope it remains the same in retail (Though I saw a legolas)

    There will be a few new hairstyles for release like you said, so you never know.  I'm personally for a long hair style. That'd make my year. . .

    You wanted my time, so I played you. You wanted my money, I forked it over. You wanted my soul, I gave it willingly. Not to complain... but when do I get my end of the deal? And no, I don't want your flippin' carrot. If you can't do that give me back my youth and keep the change. Why don't you try chasing your own damn carrot for a change? I'll gladly hold the stick.

    There are a few styles that are from XI, like the one spiky miqote style which I've used in XI and I'll probably be using in XIV.

    Some people have zero imagination. I can't decide if it would be nice to be so blatantly ignorant of free thought, or a curse to forever be completely unoriginal and boring.

    If I only had a  nickel for every time I saw a character named Leonidas, Beowulf, Legolas, Cloud, Sephiroth.... etc etc etc  I shudder to think of seeing carbon copies of them physically as well.

    The only way to get rid of names like that is to have people check all names, they could of course adds some name police that checks all characters created the last few days but it would be a lot of work. Some people just have really bad imagination.

    Maybe I get it wrong but would somone not just need to make an automatic charaktername Check on all unwanted names right by charakter Creation?

    Ok aside of that are of course always names that were not considered.

    I saw Quistis, Rinoa and about 7 different variations on Tifa...... I'm not to worried about seeing "famous" hairstyles. As long as there are moogles, chocobos and an npc named Sid I'll be content for nostalgia.

    Actually, I'm pretty sure more hairstyles are on the way.  Somebody posted up a link to the "boat building" video that included cake building and also some portaits of character heads that I'm pretty sure are showing off more hairstyles.

    Well i hope they do add more hairstyles not that im too bothered i mean i can live with it but they should make some long hairs for Female Hyur atleast >.<
