Cataclysme race changing

Is it posible to change race lets say Night elf to Worgen.

I dont feel like leveling from 1 to 80 since I already have all the classes I need.

I heard from a friend that it would take 3 months after release  before you be able to do that, but i havent found anything officialy abouth it, anyone knows more?

You'll have to wait until after people get the achievements of "FIRST" to get to 85 in that race..etc etc.. It will probably take a few months.. 3 if not more..

The achievement for first WorgenGoblin to 85 has a requirement that you leveled through the worgengoblin starting zone that is out of phase for other players. Therefore it is not possible to get the achievement by race changing. Blizz will allow race changes on day one most likely.

     Sorry.. no they won't.. To be the realm FIRST worgen or goblin to 85 will come naturally..  NO race changing , and limited server swaps too..  I'm surprised they are even allowing Worgen/Goblin DK starting at 55th level..  Then again, maybe that just shows they really don't care about people leveling from 1-55 anymore.. other then starting zones..  If they allowed race changing, some would log on at 12:01 AM,  change their race of an already maxed out toon,  to become the realm first Worgen or Goblin..

These are the achievements (you will notice that there is no straight to 85 for Worgen or Goblins):

There is no reward or achievement for first to 85 if you change to Goblin or Worgen or roll a Worgen/Goblin DK. Please look up information before running your mouth on about subjects that you do not know. You only loose your chance for an achievement by swapping races to Goblin / Worgen. You can easily see this in the beta or on MMO Champ.

Of course they got it wrong, it was a WoW hater that posted, this site is filled with em. They like crappy games and hate on the biggest and best for their lame SOE games.

I read an interview a while back stating they won't be letting you race change to either the new race or new classes within existing races (ie troll druid, human hunter, etc) at the release of Cata. They make hve stated when they will allow it but Ic an't remember what they said.

Blizzard hasn't stated anywhere whether or not you will be able to race change to the Worgen or Goblin races on Cataclysm's release. Stop this pointless speculation and just wait for an official announcement.

If they do allow you to change, you will not get an achievement for being the first level 85.

I don't care about the achievement, I just really want to race change to a goblin as soon as cata hits. I've been playing a goblin in the beta and I got so used to it I don't wanna play my tauren any more . I think making that option available would make blizz a bunch of money, since I know a lot of people wanna change right away.
