Hi,

anyone  knows   the exact release time  for FFXIV  on Sep, 22nd?

    - Official Service Launch Date

    At 18:00 (PDT) on Sep. 21, 2010, early access to the Realm of Eorzea will begin. The official service is scheduled to begin on Sep. 30, 2010.

    * Along with the start of early access, the download of client patch will become available.

    Like Laughing-man said the servers should get turned on Tuesday at 6pm PDT.  Some people in Australia and the EU are reporting they are already receiving their copies.  But it's looking like the NA copies won't get made available until Wednesday 9/22.  If you know an all night electronics store you may be able to pick up a copy at midnight.  There will be a patch that will probably be 3 - 6 GB to download before you can begin playing. 

    Also you will need to make sure you have set up your Square Enix account and put in billing information before it will let you start playing.  They are expecting heavy congestion on the account servers so best to do the setup sometime tomorrow.
