haven't really had time to sit down and try an mmo lately but wanted to give this one a go as i have found more time in my schedule. after reading the reviews from some people i'm a little wary of just going out and buying it and would love to give it a try first. if anyone would be nice enough to let me have a key i would greatly appreciate it

While XIV is missing a great deal of content, I wouldn't bother listening to what any review had to say, as pretty much everything they complained about has been fixed in the Nov/Dec updates, and its only going to get better with the first 2011 update!

 

You can get it for $30, plus its indefinitely F2P currently, decided for yourself instead...

PS3 version has been delayed until they fix the current issues, so you shouldn't expect it to release for at least 8 months, probably closer to a year.

Hey There,

Looking for a Buddy Pass. Havent tried out FFXIV at all yet. I passed up purchasing a copy at release with so much negative reviews and bad press from the beta's once the NDA was lifted. I really enjoy the FF series and have played them over the last 10years.

I had played FFXI when it first came out for about 6 months and eventually moved on as it didnt offer enough solo content for when I wanted to just be on for an hour or so and some IG friends from EQ had left as well.

I was really looking forward to FFXIV since it seemed to be a little solo freindlier. Dont get me wrong I love to group but sometimes you dont have 3hrs to invest and just want to get something accomlpished in an hour of free time.

Anyway, Looking for a Buddy Pass please. Im really looking for something new to get into. WoW is too bland anymore, done with Aion and even though Rift beta is fun its really nothing new.

Oh! I had no idea there was a thread such as this.

I've been really tempted to buy this game for the past week seeing the upcoming changes, and just wanting to see how the game is compared to when I last tried it early in the beta. If someone has a key to spare I'd be very grateful since I'm on a -very- limited budget lately and need something to replace my current MMO sub with.

I'm pretty sure those had to be redeemed by the end of November (2010).
