Guardian?

How are Guardians in EQ2? Do they take skill, or do you just sit there and get hit and voke a couple times? Do they hit a decent amount of damage, and how is there survivability? What is the best weapon combo to use with them? I would think 1h/shield but I dunno.

Ive narrowed down my class selection choices to beserker and guardian, cant decide between the two. I want to pick a class and stay with it from the moment I enter EQ2. Ive noticed if I play to many classes I get bored with each of them easier and make a new character.

    Depends how u play the game.  If you group a lot then u will be expected to be the main tank as a Guardian, they can take a beating but dont do as much damage as a zerker.  If you dont want the responsibility of being the main tank and trying to hold agro etc then play a zerker they are one of the damage dealers of a group.

    Being the Main Tank in a group allows me to have the most fun in an MMORPG... ive noticed that from CoH, when i get EQ2, I am going to be a Guardian
