DirectX Crash

Guys i'm experiencing a weird issue. I can play FFXIV about 15 minutes and the game will crash and says "UNABLE TO DETECT DIRECTX DEVICE" and I notice that it says my display driver has chrashed and recovered... I've never had this happen before in any game, so I know FFXIV is causing the issue. I've got the must up-to-date driver from Nvidia. Anyone else experience this?

It might be best to put problems like this on the official technical forums.  There is most likely more people there to help and you may find a thread with the exact same issue.  If you have already done this....then, please, ignore this post...

Um, silly question, but are you playing in Full Screen? If so, that's your culprit. Turn it to Windowed mode.

Try to re-install your driver and directx, maibe that will help. Or maibe ttry another graphic configuration in FFXIV.

Perhaps video card is overheating? I know it made my 5850 really work its butt off in beta.

Are you alt-tabbing by any chance?

I un-installed the drivers completely and re-installed the video drivers... Don't seem to be getting the crash in drivers at all now =) thanks
