No game should force you to use something as crappy as a controller. Instant fail !!
I agree. Thankfully you aren't "forced" to use a gamepad. It is an option. In fact, it is not even the default option. You have to turn it on and set up the controller keybinds before it works.
If options scare you, then stick with the games were you don't have any choices.
Options? its probably a bad idea to assume that everyone knows how to setup these things on their computer, i have had to work on quite a few friends & families computers over the years, and i've realised that quite a number of people out there probably don't even know how to update drivers, let alone configure new gear. But yeah.. i dont like gamepads, but by the sound of it, even though the menu's are... a tad user unfriendly, their not impossible to use... one of these days SE is going to release a user friendly game interface and surprise us all, im pretty sure the following day the world will probably end though...
So how do you gamepad guys communicate ingame? Now that I think about it that's why you hardly see anyone talk in the game. So much for a community game this one is supposed to be.
thanks for the link. I am actually going to go out and buy one tommorow for myself. I have been trying to look around for a controller to use to play the game with. Because the setup is honestly for a console and using a mouse and keyboard is very clunky.

I have about 10 people in my linkshell, so we just use skype to talk. Otherwise, the keyboard is right next to me, so it's not really a big deal. And the last resort is the mouse, but I use that about 1% of the time.

1)Get a controller
2) then configure the XY axis to inverted.
3) ???
4) Profit.
The interface is designed to be navigated by a controler, so it may make be more comfortable if navigating via keyboard and mouse is awkward for you.

Live a life less ordinary.

Somebody needs to free those millions of PS, Xbox, and Nintendo players, then. The poor souls.
