Patch 1.1.2 Problems

Is anyone else here experiencing problems since the latest patch (1.1.2) came out?

Up until I downloaded it my game ran (relatively) well.  Now it crashes consistently, and Blizzard seems unable to offer any explanation than "it's your hard drive/video card/memory", despite the fact that the tech support forums are full of disgruntled users with the same problem.

do you have all the latest drivers for everything?? i haven't had any problems since downloading the patch and neither have the guys i play with... we're all going along just like before... if you have all the latest drivers then i have no clue whats going wrong...

if nothing else works you can always try uninstalling and reinstalling, i know it takes forever which is why i would suggest using that as a last resort.

I'll be doing my system check for driver updates and memory/hard drive errors tonight.

I tried re-installing last night and it still ended up crashing like crazy.  Ugh.

I know the majority of users aren't having this problem, but a few thousand are.  I hope that's enough that Blizzard would want to fix this problem ASAP.

Yea, in the first 4 days of playing since it released, I was having the same erros. There's something about going to Start, Run, dxdiag, and lower the sound levels to basic. After that, there were less errors but they still existed just not as often. I haven't had a crash since maybe 1-2 weeks (knock on wood). But yea, update drivers, run dxdiag, reinstall WoW, and if you don't have too much to lose reformat like I did. Good luck on fixing the problems.
