Update Not Going?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Been siting here for 45 min, at 5% this kinda sucks...

    Sat there for about 5-10 minutes downloading a trickle for me, then it kicked in.  It's a wierd updater, sometimes it just takes some time.  Maybe it puts you in a queue behind the scene or something.

    The updater checks your posting history at mmorpg.com

     

    Positive posts = top of the queue

    Negative posts = bottom of queue

    Troll posts = "connection has timed out, please try again"

    Patience was the key for me. Don't reset it. As you get more and more connections, it'll speed up. 

     

    But yeah, it's not a very good patcher.
