Socom 3 for PS2? and PS3?!?!?

I have only heard about socom 3, but i never really seen anything about it. Incase you dont know what socom is, its a 3rd person shooter, Online w/ headset for PS2. For some people its a disapointment because once socom 3 comes out, they will shut down socom 1 servers, (which is good because cheaters play #1). I have only heard about changing weather, and Of course..New weapons and maps.

    I haven't played Halo2 yet so I can't really give an honest answer

    But if it's Multiplayer is anything like Halo1, I'll pass and choose Socom 3

    Reason is: I really hate frage fest multiplayer games. Multiplayer games like CS, CS:S, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and some others are great because it actually requires teamwork, blowing doors, stealing documents, etc.

    Mindless fragging like Halo 1, Unreal Tournament, Star Trek: Voyager FPS series, Star Trek: Jedi Outcast, etc I don't really like..no real challenge

    People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

    I LOVED SOCOM 1, I only played SOCOM 2 briefly, so im a little upset theyd shut the servers down for SOCOM 1... its almost like taking the game away from people since online is its biggest draw. I would rather SOCOM 3 be on PS3 ::::28::

    I havent check in like six months but last I saw my rank was around 8000... started a little late though.

    Been playing SII for exactly a year from wednesday. SIII was supposed to be on the PS/3. They are updating the physics engine and graphics so it will take a good 2 or so years before it is released. New SII maps will tide me over.


    Rated #3059 as of today. Never glitched once. ::::39::

    I agree, Halo in my opinion had more action. Halo2 is just a brilliant game; i highly recommend renting it or playing it over at a friends place.  That game is action-packed to the end and playing it on the internet is awesome. Have a lan party.. I'll bring the beer

    ok, so far i hear its comming out next year, and you can probly customize your character, but i havent seen any official info.

    And so many people complain about lag. Well 1st off its a *free* server. It costs money to fix Lag. Mabey if you paid for it monthly they would fix it. I dont wont subscrition fees.
