So who would love it if Bethesda decided to make an online version of either Fallout or Elder Scrolls? I know this topic has probably been brought up but with Fallout New Vegas coming out soon I thought I'd bring it up once again. I for one would love but I would just worry if the developers would be able to pull it off with their lack of experience with online games. Hopefully we can all agree that games like Elder scrolls and Fallout are great games but let me hear your thoughts.

While I'd like to see it, I'm a little concerned if we'll ever see another ES title. I'm not going to dig up the quotes, but I remember reading some time ago, that they have no plans for another ES title. While that could have been in reference to at that time, the fact we've heard nothing of a ES 5 tells me they may never make one.

I'd love to,
But i think that there are some games that should be left untouched by mmo "corruption". I don't worry about their lack of experience with online games but from the fact that the design concept of those games is based on 1 adventurer, destined to save the world... taking his time... unaffected by surrounding events that should otherwise have farreaching implications on an online world.
Maybe that's a kind of a problem with most massive online games but imo the concept of the lonely rider in Bethesda's games is too strong.
about the whole ES 5 thing there is a new one coming and coming soon it has been announced by them officially that it is in the stages of playable but not perfect yet for their standards
They are making a Fallout MMO, they announced this. Sadly I rather have an Elder Scrolls MMO...
It's actually Interplay who is making the Fallout MMO and don't worry I think that Bethesda is working as we speak on their The Elder Scrolls MMO it's just in early development.
All those memories will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
Bethesda has been working on their MMO for 3 years and just recently doubled their resources with the $150M grant they recieved from investors but no one knows if its an elder scrolls game or something new.
^This. I dont know where Herve gets the money, frankly im repulsed by that horrible little frog who destroyed Van Buren in favour of FoBoS 2.
Of all the houses, sadly I would trust a company like Beth (being its own publisher and developer) to make an MMO that wasnt rushed to release, what I think of them as a game company is another issue. I just hope that Herve butchers the fallout IP enough so that it can lie dead and buried forever and not necroed for Beth to make more money on a shallow game.
No they are in court claiming that Interplay did work quick enough to get their FO mmo going and Bethesda wants the rights ot make their own game.
Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.
If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day.
And then Nebraska would get nerfed.-pinkwood lotro fourms
