Another Review! One month back
About me:
Played 1+ month after launch, unsubbed. Resubbed a month ago. Got my glad from 41 to 46. Got my SM from 18 to 28. Writing this review to give info about why I'm enjoying the game a bit more than after launch.
Highlights:
-Game is still a challenge. It takes time to lvl up, it takes time and effort to gear up.
-The awful death penalties are gone! Dieing used to cause great pain to your wallet, and drama if you were in a group. It's much cheaper now.
-Economy is still dynamic and interesting. It's probably even better because botting is pretty much gone (another plus!)
-Leveling pace is a bit better at higher lvls than what it was
-I enjoy the PvP
Lowlights:
-Abyss isn't as fun as it was at launch. The problem is sometimes there are twinks around to roflstomp you. Other times it's dead and there's nobody to fight. The Abyss is fairly well laid out but they need to improve it in a few ways. They need more flight rings, more separation between areas high levels and low levels use. I think more people would go to the abyss if they made it a bit more friendly.
-Gearing up is almost too hard. Enchanting is very important, but very hard and very expensive.
-PvEing to get PvP gear is a bit backwards...
-Fort sieges too much for my PC.
-Too many repeatables needed to lvl up.
-Crafting still pretty frustrating. Hard to proc items.
That's all I've got... On my todo list is to try the dredge and the high lvl instances.

Just some pointers for people thinking of playing;
The game is best enjoyed in a well-knitt clan. Even easier with a static group for dredge, forts and other instances. You can get a million AP in 2.0 relatively easy if you have decent players to PvP with and win dredgions.
Know what gear you should work towards. First and for most you need a good weapon, much more than armour. If nothing is dropping in instances then aim for a PvP weapon. Attend sieges as much as possible and get into an Alliance.
For sieges turn all your graphics down and press shift+F12 to get rid of player characters to reduce lag.
Over all it's a fun game and there's really nothing else worth while out there currently.
