this game becomes a huge money sink? I just started playing and my char is only level 12, but i've read that at later levels this game becomes a huge money sink and you can't get anywhere without spending a fortune in the cash shop. All i'm interested in doing is questing and the occasional instance.
How long do I have till I have to shell out alot of money to compete?

for real, you don't need to spend insane money to hang if you don't want to. being best of the best will just be hard for you though. you can still run end game content. to answer your quesion, around low 50s is when you want to stop using quest reward gear, and start modding up gear. you can do some decent end game content with "dirty modding" and some stats from some guildies who are running some higher instances. no joke though, to be pro in this game is spendy (time or money or both). again though, you don't need to spend money of you don't want. just farm up daily items or something, sell the gold, and buy up your gear/stats. np. just takes time.
