I played LOTRO when it launched a few years back. I mostly enjoyed the monster PvP (as a monster). I've recently been a little bored, and I'm putting out the feelers for various games. I have a few specific questions for LOTRO though.
I am fully aware that LOTRO is not a PVP game, and that Monster PvP is a bit of an after thought. When it was first released, I liked it quite a bit. Then there were some additions made that I didn't like much. I can't remember the specifics, but it was the patch that introduced defenses for the castles, which made them much harder to siege. I quit the game around that time.
Also, although I played as a Monster, my gf played as a good guy most of the time, particularly a heal Minstrel. So, with that background information in mind, here are my questions:
In general, how fun is Monster PvP these days?
What changes have happened to Monster PvP since the 'old days'?
How is the Monster play from the good guys' point of view, particularly healers/Minstrels?
How has the free-to-play thing affected Monster PvP, both for monsters and good guys?
Thanks in advance,
