Unable to patch

Hi folks,

I bought the digital download off of steam last night, after I finished i tried to download the patches but i'm not able to. The patcher starts downloading for awhile altho it stays at 0% all the time and then I get an Error 5 message, something about not a repair and the update servers might be down and to try again in a few minutes, this has been happening since last night so I doubt the servers have been down since then.

 

Anyone have any experience with this problem?

    I had few problems with the patcher, but all of it gets resolved when I run it in admin mode. Could that be the issue?

    check your firewall, for some reason your client is not conecting on the server, if it not work try to try to close everything then open the updater again, in worse case cenario try to download a new update and overwrite on the old one

    Thank you for the responses, I was able to fix it by uninstalling the launcher that came with Steam and redownload it from the aion website and open the game from there instead of through steam. YAY!
