any Europeans or us citizens residing in Europe having problems playing wow?

my friend and I are having some problems accessing it, I was able to play 2 days ago but now I have 13k ping, and he has the same problem too, any clues?

thats a problem when youi play such long distance away

There is so many more internet 'hops' that you have to go through. Which increases your ping generally but also increases the chance you will go through some backwater internet router that will heavily ping your game

My recommedation.

Go to Start-> Run

Type this : cmd

then type this in the dos window that follows:

tracert *type the us realm thing here*

or just type tracert www.worldofwarcraft.com

and paste the copy in here. Most likely it is some European -> American connection which has either gone down or is swamped. I used to get this problem also when conntecting to america during beta .

Another reason why im going for EU.
