My 9 year old son (a complete Lego addicts - including console games) gave it a whirl in beta, and it didn't hold his attention at all.  Not entirely sure who this game is aimed at, but I intend to keep it on my radar for my son if it looks to be gaining traction.

My yound son and I played in Alpha/Beta.  It is a good game.  My son loved it.

But some of the OP's impressions are true.  This one, in fact, was a bug/impression I filed with the development team myself:

'Interacting with it told you to go to Pet Cove to learn how to acquire pets. Just how to get to Pet Cove however… not a clue.'

Every issue that the OP had/has with the game is fixable.  And given the commitment I saw during Beta, I expect they will.

I would put money on this game going F2P in a matter of months. There just is not enough content to satisfy the box fee + monthly fee.

As a parent, 41yrs old i played this game in beta for several weeks and made every char class to rank 3 armor sets. I never once had any problem with camera or motion sickness. I let my 9yr old daughter play the game on my beta acct and she loved it as well, she cant wait for me to get the game for her on release. Alot of the comments i have read come from experianced adult gamers. Complaints of finishing the content in 10hrs etc. Bear in mind this game is primarily made for young kids, theres no way my daughter would get to endgame in 10hrs, would take her weeks, she was more interested in getting the pets than rushig thru everything. The game has so many different things to do , costumes and a lot of new content worlds could easily be added in the future.

Only one question: are the inverted y-axis mouse controls implemented yet?
