Very confused in regards to beta pre-orders

I pre-ordered the game. Sent them my Paypal receipt from Steam. I didn't get a confirmation page or email saying I sent it, so I'm a bit worried. That was 2 weeks ago. I now see preorders are getting beta invites, and now I'm even more worried. I scoured spam folders and inboxes on my email and can't see anything. Any help?

I'm in the same boat, sent them an image of my receipt the first day they accepted em, no confirmation email. No further correspondence, either. Guess we will see how it goes.

They gave an "official" response on DCUOSource the system is working as intended, they did not send out any confirmations. No one received confirmations, yet some are starting to get into Beta already.
Just hang in there, wait until the 29th and if you haven't received something by then I'd try and contact SOE and go from there.
I don't think the beta invites that went out today were related at all to preorders as I got one and I have not yet preordered.

Indeed. If this is how they're working the pre-orders how is it going to be during the live game? At a minimum they should have had an automated email which basically said, "We've recieved your image and it will be reviewed within ______ number of weeks."
I'm excited by the game (I preordered) but very disappointed by their treatment of their biggest fans.
Let's give them to the 30th of this month before we go all rabid meer cat on them.

You won't get a receipt. I submitted mine a few days ago as well. As long as the page said "Thanks for your submission" or something similar after you sent it you should be hearing from Sony by the end of the month. If not oh well, you'll get in game eventually.

No, everyone that pre-ordered and sent their copy of their receipt in before the 15th of November will, supposedly, be admitted to the beta for its duration by the end of this month.
Meh. No beta invite for me, either... no response that they got my receipt. Although I did send it as a PDF; probably the wrong thing to do. I was kinda hoping to try this out over the Angstgiving holiday.
Mine was a PDF as well. Curious as to why you think that was wrong? I haven't gotten an invite either, just fyi.
people still pre-order games? I learned my lesson and wait till a couple months after launch now.

Mine was a JPG and I'm still waiting as well. I have seen reports that people are starting to recieve them, but it appears to be slow going. I would be curious what format and the email address the replys are coming from. Is it an SOE email address or something with the DCU title on it? That way I can scan my SPAM filter a little better
On a side note I am now up to checking me email about once every 45 min's or so... I feel a little ashamed
It looks as if ppl that are playing the beta right now went to certain events giving away access to the beta early.
So far, the only way to snag a key is if you attended Comic Con in San Diego or SOE Fan Faire and recieved a VIP Beta Key; however, if you’ve pre-ordered the game and have a valid receipt for said pre-order, you can upload that on the DC Universe Online official website, which will guarantee a beta key by November 30th.

Enjoyed: WOW 5 1/2 yrs, LOTRO 3yrs, GW 1/2yr, DFO 1yr, EVE Online 3yrs, and Huxley (Beta).
Failed to impress: GW2 3months, Tera Online 6 months (best combat system in any MMO I've played) STO 1/4yr, Aion 1/2yr, AoC 1yr, CO, Fallen Earth, DDO, EQ2 1/2yr, WAR 1/2yr, Lineage 2 and FF XI 1/2yr, FF XIV.
While true, it also appears that people who pre-ordered started recieving keys, it appears around the 13th of November, for pre-order Beta play. I am hoping someone can confirm that the pre-order keys are going out and from what email address they are coming from.

gah, i can never keep these beta requirements straight on what is super secret or not. but somebody very close to me got a beta invite late yesterday evening... you could say we sleep together and maybe i found out because he talks in his sleep. just look for a regular station email from SOE.

My husband and I submitted receipts last week (prior to the 13th) and as of yet have not received beta invites related to our pre-orders. I suspect that these will be going out in waves, however, and randomized within the pre-order submission pool.
Yeah, still waiting here too. I submitted mine on the 3rd, and Still nothing. But I suppose if people pre-ordered expecting the original November 2nd date, then I still probably have a ways to go till they get to the people who submitted in November. Happy waiting.
