Is there any game..

  without bot programs? I mean, I played 3 games consecutively... and left 'coz of one same reason.. Botting! Scripting and such. Sorry, but I'm still new to the world of MMORPGs.. :D

The 3 games I played:

1. Ragnarok Online

2. MU Online

3.Maple Story

 

I'm currently playing Conquer online.. but the game too hosts various bot programs. Oh, yeah, I'm getting Guildwars as a decent game this time.. I couldn't afford WoW or EQ2, still can't. :(

     Oh help us God.. I want to play a solid bot-free, script-free, hack-free game. I refuse to play any game that has any programmed cheat! Help guys.

     

    OH yeah, I remember my D2 days when I had pindlebot on 24/7.. it was fun, I had over 200 SOJs.. but then it got boring. :p

    WoW did have some bots but the accounts that used them have been deleted. So yes there are bots but hopfuly Blizz can get rid of the accounts that use them befor to much damage is dun.

    You might wanna try WoW.  Blizzard is very strict on bots, they are going to the point to banning accounts because of that.

    And it's so true!  I was walking around Fenris Isle in the Undead World, some guy had a bot Priest following his Warlock around.  I ask if that's a bot... he responds: "No my wife is taking a break,  she's coming back soon."

    LOL

    I've never seen someone lie so bad like that before in a MMORPG.  SOE doesn't care about bots, Star Wars Galaxies is filled with bots AFK grinding and such.  And even in Everquest 2 I saw someone with 2 BOTS following him around!  2 bots!  And he was grinding around the scarecrow fields near Queynos.  There was lots of other people around and no one seemed to care.

    Blizzard truly lives up to their reputation.  For once in a MMORPG I actually have faith in a company.  Well there's also Mythic that offers great service, but unfortunatly they don't seem to care about bots either.  :P

    Yeah, Mythic doesn't care about bots cause that just means more monthly payments into their pocket :P

    most games that you pay for do not allow bots and such. some people are so hasty to judge also (not going to mention any names) just because someone has a character following them does not mean its a bot...ever heard of /follow, and in SWG they had thier own macros built in to the game if your to dumb to use them, thats not the games fault. you can craft and fight or whatever and it will go by itself, thats not cheating they allow you to do it.

       Hmm.. that was rather harsh.. Oh and I did pay 13$ a month for Meridian59 at Skotos.net... but went to pay 26$ and play TEC (A MUD game) instead, because I found it to be better than all  those graphical games at that time.. and yeah, I played that for 15+ hours a day. Hmm.. really now, I could consider myself to be a better gamer than you, Sir Hashman for I could easily shove those darts and chess pieces in your throat for posting such an insignificant reply.

       Oh yeah, you get what you pay for.. I just don't like WoW.. I was thinking of playing Guildwars since I hate Blizzard practically all their games are "bot-friendly". I'll be giving EQ2 a try this week.

       Thanks for the replies. :)  But none of you answered my question yet, you just gave suggestions, out of the point replies and some were too judgemental. Again I ask.. Which games are 'bot-free, hack-free, script-free? Are those that I pay 15$ a month free from those pests?

    umm like i tryed to say most games will never be 'bot-free, hack-free, script-free' but the good games will crack down on such things and try to stop them. Blizz has already deleted accounts that use speed hacks and bots. Of other games i have no idea what they are doing about such things.
