gamesonmac.com posts - what's the deal?

Saw a D3 article in the featured articles slideshow.  Wondered why it was posted here, since it's not a MMO.  Clicked the link and was taken to a gamesonmac.com article?  Bwaah?  This isn't the first time it's happened and it's irritating:

1. 
   This is mmorpg.com and the article doesn't pertain to a MMO.  As such, why was it here in the first place?
2. 
   I understand that gamesonmac.com is a network site, but it's not one relevant to my interests. I don't own a mac and probably never will..
3. 
   I came to mmorpg.com for mmorpg.com news and game forums. if there are links to external articles, even those on network sites, they should be clearly identified as such.  Doing otherwise basically hijacks a user.
4. 
   Even if the article is relevant to MMOs, gamesonmac.com requires separate registration.  When the Pocket Legends article was posted a while back, it stated that Spacetime Studios previously worked on Black Prophecy, when it was actually Blackstar.  I would have commented on that, except that I was required to register.  Yes, it's free, but it's just one more gaming site--and one generally irrelevant to my interests--that I'd have to register for.  No thanks..

I don't mind links to network sites, in general, but I'd like to see a little more transparency.  Perhaps a side panel with links to network sites or perhaps clicking on the featured article would open a mmorpg.com news and comment blurb (just like the news page) with a link to the external article?  That way mmorpg.com posters could comment about the article on mmorpg.com itself..

1. Occasionally, we'll post articles for non-MMO games that we feel are relevant to MMO gamers.

2. We do cross-promotions with our network sites from time to time, but like the non-MMO game articles, the frequency with which we do this is fairly low.

3. I will forward your feedback on this, though we generally do our best to clearly identify that the article is from a network site in such a case (it wouldn't be great cross-promotion otherwise!).

4. Again, I will forward this feedback along to the team for their review, but I do not have any information as to whether we will be allowing users of MMORPG.com to login on our network sites using their MMORPG.com accounts.
