    Not when its a clone of a game that was decades ahead of its time, and had more features in 1997 than almost all MMOs have now.

    Yes Darkfall has this in it.

    Its a game that is also still online, instead of waiting for a clone of UO people should just play UO.

    I'm glad to see this thread here. Archeage definitely needs more exposure :D

    Adorable, thanks for proving you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

    The UO that everyone knew and loved is gone. Same reason why people aren't playing EQ1 anymore, or DAoC anymore. Hell its the same reason many people say "classic WoW" was the best, and a totally different game. But no, keep using this moronic excuse, it helps us figure out who to ignore.

    I find it hard to believe that a game without full loot could be a true successor to UO. It's certainly a pretty game (not that I care much about that), and I'm glad to see they're adopting some sandbox features, but I have a hunch it will turn into another korean grindfest with nice graphics but inadequate gameplay. I'll probably check it out, but my hopes aren't exactly high. I do hope it does well, though, if only to expose people to it's sandbox features and give the industry a renewed interested in producing some full-fledged sandbox MMOs.

    I am still trying to figure out why people try to equate sandbox with being able to steal everyone elses stuff in the sandbox,they must have had some fucked up childhoods.

    ^^ This

    Sandbox =/= FFA

    I wish people would get off that soapbox. It makes the reputation of sandbox games less player friendly keeping them as niche games instead growing the population as they deserve.

    Gaming since Avalon Hill was making board games.

    Played SWG, EVE, Fallen Earth, LOTRO, Rift, Vanguard, WoW, SWTOR, TSW, Tera
    Tried Aoc, Aion, EQII, RoM, Vindictus, Darkfail, DDO, GW, PotBS
