I've played psionicist, warden, summoner, warrior.
I made sure to try a range of classes and roles to get a good feeling for everything. I thought I'd only like caster classes but I'm llking my warrior very much since I never like that kind of role in most MMOs.
I guess you haven't played WoW arenas. Although DAOC does have some skill factors it still lacks in the fairness department in which WoW arenas excels at. Everyone on equal playing field = skillful pvp.
WoW: My main in WoW is a mage. I have pretty much completed Wrath content. I have enjoyed playing in the beta. Cata is going to be a lot of fun. Rated BGs here I come.
AoC: My main in AoC is a demonologist. I enjoy playing AoC with my rl friends but the game needs some more pvp content. The pve content added in the expansion is good.
I am looking forward to SWToR mostly because I have really enjoyed various Bioware games such as Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age, Knights of the Old Republic, etc.
I spend most of my time playing WoW, but when I want some fun PvP I load up EVE.
A friend of mine and I returned to WoW a few months ago and after giving up trying to find a guild that we would enjoy being a part of, we formed our own. Since then we've been slowly recruiting people we like instead of inviting a bunch of asshats we can barely tolerate. It's taken us longer to progress, but we are 11/12 in ICC, and still having fun. My main is currently a Shaman (resto-elemental), but I am gearing up a Paladin (prot-holy) for Cataclysm.
EVE PvE is terrible and none of my friends will play it until they have Avatars so I only play a couple of nights a week to get my PvP fix.
Im playing Allods Online because it has many quests, great combat, astral ship pvp, and fun events. They are making it less cash shop dependent. High lvl cap and updated alot.
Looking forward to GW2, TSW, and whatever CCP does with World of Darkness.
what race/name are you in DF? I just resubbed, again, today and am enjoying it thus far. EvE i play on and off, its fun but i can never still it for more than a month. AoC...i would resub but I still play like 3 other MMOs and as much as I would love to I focus on the others.
Playing as a human, "Little Roo", at the moment. Chose human purely for cosmetic reasons - they have the best female character model choices, imo.
“It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”
Going back to WoW, Cata is launching and i was going to make a Worgen druid. But then i found out trolls can be druids now, and their feral forms are OMG . Ive always loved the troll class anyways. And ive always wanted to be a troll druid. Now i gotta figure out what im gonna do for the worgen again. X.x
After i get bored with wow, which probably wont be too soon, im hoping that some of the next gen MMOs will be out or atleast close to being. Im planning on trying all of them unless the first one i try hooks me.
That is of course until D3 comes out. Then ill be spending up to a year playing that exclusively. As long as it turns out as good as im thinking it will. I know, not an MMO. But if its online play is anything like D2, It'll be just as good as one.
Just returned to Lotro now that there is a f2p option. I played for about a year when it first launched, then got bored.
Warhammer endless trial since last November.
Age of Conan endless trial also.
Guild Wars.
I tend to hop between these games, unable to fully settle in any of them any more Like other people, I'm looking forward to GW2, hoping to be a happy gamer once again.
Playing WoW again, friend got me to dl it again. Any MMO is 100 times more enjoyable with a group of friends to play with. Waiting for Guild Wars 2 and Dark Millenium Online.

I was game hopping for years, then Darkfall launched 1 1/2 years ago. I haven't played another MMO since.

Lord of the Rings Online - Been having a blast with the free version, which isn't that bad overall, much better than EQ2X.
