This has hurt them numerous times.....
My favorite part of the patch.
"- Resolved numerous dupe issues." That has what hurt the game so much. there has been duping issues in the game since release. The Economy is non exsistent. There are houses and keeps standing now bought with duped items and materials.

i hardly belive duping has been the worst of their problems. sure duping hurts the economy but lag and desync in pvp has alienated way more people, me included.
Sure we all knew people were duping but didn't really care all that much. the incapability of SV to fix and balance the only fun part of this game (pvp) patch after patch after patch was the nail in the coffin for many players. there is really nothing enjoyable in farming for hours in order to get geared up and then dying in 30 seconds of glitchy, laggy, skipy all over the place, desynced combat. not to mention the machine gun bows, 120 dex mages, the screen draging, stupid mounted knock back mechanics, etc, etc.
had they not continuosly broken pvp combat with just about every single patch i would still be playing.
I think way more people left the game due to the cheating exploiting/duping, I know I did. Since they had such a low number of subs, they should have considered wiping the server and starting fresh with fixes in place . I would have come back to the game and its possible a good amount of Prophecy members would have as well if they took that route. I spoke to other guild leaders who felt the exact same way. IMHO most structures in the game are bogus as are the numerous stacks of resources.

Actually a really nice patch. Fixed several things. The players are pleased with this patch. Some animations are done and now looks much better, like unarmed combat, turn animations. Lumberjack animations was changed recently and looks very good and realistic.
Here is a video that show bravling from the todays patch:

That's nice.
Did they get that city back in place?
Long time ago.
Also we can soon expect more content soon.
Patch has done ALOT for the game, quiet amazing really. A couple more patches like that and there won't be any bugs in MO.
1 "good" patch and everything is going great? Have you seen their financial report?
Yes, the last patch was great. I think they test more than before, before they release a new patch. If they continue this way MO will become almost bug free.
Bump ... pass all necramanced threads ...
Lets see if we get a new patch soon ... with some new content.
A friend who resubbed to try the EPIC/MO2 patch sent me this list from the BugTracker. This list is 100% just stuff from the new .08 patch. Needless to say when his sub expires in a few days.. he will NOT be renewing...
PS: this is just new stuff.. not the whole list of existing stuff.
Then of course we have the constant server crashes caused by the patch:

Looks like just another day in the life of MO.
I win!!! LOL@U
I want a boat in the next patch
If it's not broken, you are not innovating.
My sub is about to run out in a couple days so I wanted to get on and test the Friday patch. I got on at 8:40ish pm CST. Which is prime time in NA.
I logged into my weapon crafter which was all the way on the south west side of sausage lake. I quickly rezzed and pointed myself to Mt. Pointy heading towards Fab. I took a route that was well out in the open because I wanted someone to come by to pk me because I wanted to see how well the desync, predition system got fixed.
I walked through 2 wisent spawns on the way past the Steppe Horse spawn at 3 lakes. walked past TA Keep. Took the new path on the south side of Kranesh. Followed the river to the Gazebo. Got on the path to Fab, walked over wooden bridge. As soon as I got close enough to see Fab front gates I had a fatal error. That has happened to me since release.
Now the whole time graphics looked good. Saw some fish I think in the lakes ( I do not think they do anything they are for looks). My shadow looked good. The moon was popping up and it was dusk the clouds looked cool.
Main problem was I didn't see one person until I saw the Fab gates. Now from where I started to where I ended up is about half the map. It is a Saturday night in NA primetime. When I went into Fab there was 6 people in town. I made a joke. "Is there 10 people playing the game". And someone responded "No 11 I just logged in"...
[Mod Edit]
Those bugs are still on the to-do list, but just look that's a mere handful of bugs most of those the majority of players will never experience.
Overall, I think this has been a very effective patch. I'd like to see more like this one, along with more well-implemented content patches.
Again, a good job by SV with this.
Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.
Check the bug list, and reports on combat.
Doesn't look like a great patch apart from some pretty graphics - and graphics do not make a game, or we'd all be playing the windows screensaver.
I am afraid that such a content upgrade would cost the game not one city but a half of the mainland
MO chances are small but if they manage to get enough content in, iron out exisiting bugs and adress all the performence combat related issues...we may have a new true sandbox rising.
