    This past weekend I finally got to play Vanguard with all bells and whistles up.

    My biggest surprise were the volumetric  clouds in that I actually saw a storm front that was all dark and forboding (like stormfronts tend to be) but it was amidst whiter clouds that were closer to me.

    It was extremely cool.

    The graphics really were bleeding edge when it came out.  My only gripe with them was I could never get anti aliasing to work with my ATI cards.  I know for most people it's not a big deal but I can't stand those jagged lines.  I may try it again to see if it's any better at 1920x1080 since I have a new monitor.

    off topic: Ever since the free trial I've noticed that the trees don't seem to look as good as they used to with these dark clumps of leaves. Anyone notice this too or know why its that way?

    If they could just get the Rain and Snow to work(Been a While, Does it now?) Vanguard would have the Best weather in any MMO on the market... By a WIDE margin.

    I believe I had rain in windows xp. However, I think the issue is Vista/Windows 7.

    Would anyone recommend a class, i'm gonna give the trial a whirl. I prefer DPSing warriors, sort of like Fury Warr in WoW (<3 Dual wield or 2h weps). Also don't mind druid or warlock sort of things.

    Maybe see you guys in game!

     It's too bad they never added the Beserker, but try the Warrior as it's the only plate class that can dual weild and has the highest damage of the defensive fighters.

    I had allot of fun with bard when I origionally played the game when it came out...

    What server you all playin on? I'm bored as heck til 4.0.3 comes out and I can make my human hunter, haha. Always did like VG though, even id the playerbase is lacking. Any more players now than there was 6 months ago?
