Reasons why I think gw2 will kill wow.
-Less grinding than wow
-Better pvp than wow
-Has better graphics than wow
-No subscription fee
-Better pve than wow
-Wow is old and boring
-Nobody likes wow anymore

While this list is wrong on almost every point lol, the no subscription fee is exactly why it won't kill WoW. GW2 is shaping up to look excellent but without a sub fee people are going to play this as well as their pay to play of choice.
One of the reasons GW2 is going to do so well is because it isn't competing with any other MMO out there. There is no monthly fee and it's not in line with free to plays so no pay to win.
By not competing for those subs GW2 won't be knocking anyone out of the race.
And this thread is like the 100th of it's kind, was it really needed?
Nah, it wont kill WoW. Only time can kill WoW. On the other hand, i think that GW2 will be far more succesful that people here expect it to be...

How more successful that people here expect it to be? Anticipation for this game has already reached the limit, the game can't be more successful than what is already expected.
Nah, found the post funny and commented on the no sub thing being the main reason why GW2 wasn't going to kill WoW.
Unless you meant trolled by the OP, which is entirely possible oO. I just assume anyone that makes this kind of post doesn't know any better lol, if they did and still made it ... well I'd have to bring into question their intellect. Sure, they could get a laugh by trolling me, they could go tell all their friends "Hey lol, I tricked this guy on the internet lololol. I made him think I was an idiot lol!" but I never understood the point of that.

To believe something will outright kill another game, you have to have an extreme lack of intelligence. WoW will have at least a few million players for many, many years.

I think GW2 will kill WOW because frankly, Anet works out of a nicer building. I've seen pictures and it looks really nice. And the people there really seem to care about personal grooming, which obviously is rarely taken into consideration by gamers and fast food vendors alike anymore. And don't let me get started on vehicle maintenance! The other day I was going to grab a coffee and I had to open a new box of sugar cubes. It totally made me think of GW2 and WoW, so I took the new box of cubes and smashed the old empty box with it. Like TOTALLY destroyed. Man, it was awesome. Kinda like stretching your toes, you just don't know what your shoes are thinking. Wait, did that not make sense? Well neither does making another stupid thread on this. For any game, Ever.

every MMO that has come out has always been asked "is this game going to kill wow??"
IMO no its not the only thing that will end up killing wow is the writers of the game. Also the fact that it's hit china well there is a good chance its not going to disapper, I mean look at the hits of the asain gaming MMO's so far most of them haven't done as well.
If you listen to what the devs are saying about guild wars 2 you will realize that they have much more lofty goals than competing with little ol' WoW, they want their MMO to compete with all other games out there. They are taking ideas on gameplay mechanics from FPS's and Story from RPGs ect....
Guild Wars 2 will be doing the next best thing from killing WoW, it'll just ignore it.
Wouldnt it be great if we all took the same stance as the developers? Guild wars 2 is reaching to a place WoW never can, a market outside of MMO's. So instead of asking our selves wether it will kill it, lets all just not perceive it as a threat, cause it wont be. And once the fanboys of WoW have no one to troll because no one is listening, they have three options
1. troll themselves
2. play WoW and shut up
or 3. try Guild Wars 2
