Subject says it all, can anyone ask me if my new PC can play this game? I don't want to play if anyone think's it will lag...
AMD Phenom II x6 3.2GHZ
6GB DDR3 1600MHZ
ATI Radeon HD 5850 1gb DDR5
2TB SATA HD's
Thanks guys I'm downloading the benchmark now, but taking forever so was wondering if anyone think it's even worth it.

My computer is half as good as yours and plays it fine.
The benchmark is finicky and isn't a true measure of performance in game.
Also depends on what settings you have on...either way should be fine.
Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.
I'd tell you it'll lag to save you from wasting your time and money but your computer will run it fine. :

I actually already have the game, since I purchased the collectors but never played it before my computer before couldn't handle it... (HAD A LAPTOP LAWL)
So I finally said bye to the laptop buisness and built a desktop...
My last laptop scored in less than 800 on the benchmark...
I'm hoping this computer engulfs that...
I'm actually purchasing a second 5850 tomorrow, to run as crossfire as well... well thinking about it..
I hope the 6 core processor can handle anything.

No point in going crossfire with a 5850. Almost every game will run at max at a decent resolution. Your processor will be fine.

Hmm, I'm so used to applying lag to graphics when people discuss system specs.
The game will have interface lag regardless of how beastly your system is. Many of the transactions are server side and it's quite notable during anything related to item management.
Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.
Thanks for the input, I tried to run the benchmark and it gave me a error saying some file was missing or what not... whatever
guess I'll just install the game and see what it's like... I know it runs World of Warcraft Ultra like a joke haha

To bad you already own the game and opened it... if the game came in a Cardboard box always open it from the bottom very carfully so if it sucks you can neatly reaplly the little sticker tape and act like you never opened it.
This trick worked out in my favor when I bought Quake Wars Enemey Territory and then bought a graphics card including a free copy 2 weeks later... put the free copy with unused CD-key inside the box and got my 50 bucks back! It was a Win Win scenario!
Alright finally got the benchmark ran (had a few errors to deal with)
Got a score of 4,120...
I think the game should run pretty smooth.

6 GB of memory is the wrong amount to have. Thuban has a dual channel memory controller, so you should either have 4 GB or 8 GB. If you bought a three module kit intended for Bloomfield processors, then you can probably just pull one module out and be fine. Mismatched memory channels will hurt your memory bandwidth, and Thuban is short on memory bandwidth for programs that can push all six cores. Meanwhile, the extra capacity of going above 4 GB won't make a bit of difference in games.
If you want to get a second 5850 for CrossFire, you may want to do it sooner rather than later. AMD might have stopped production of Cypress chips by now, or they might only keep a trickle of them coming to supply their needs for FirePro and FireStream cards until they can make Cayman-based cards for those markets. AMD surely doesn't want to keep making Cypress chips for the sake of Radeon cards much longer (though some that flunk FirePro and FireStream specs will go into Radeon cards), as they get nearly the same performance out of the much cheaper Barts chip on the same process node, and the high end Cayman chip is only a couple of weeks away. There are some 5850s available for fire sale prices right now, and that's surely not going to last.
But your system should run the game just fine as is.
