the movie was playing in my background and when i brought it up i saw the sttudio door and i thought it said "butthole studios"

TERA is becoming all hype with little substance. There are videos out there from a year ago that show pretty much the same thing in terms of actual gameplay and information. The only thing they added was more glitz, flashy logos, and more anoying music. This same old song and dance is getting old fast.
More hype than the other MMOs? Wouldn't say so. Less info than the other MMOs? Definitely not. The info is little only for someone who hasn't been following the game. And at least they announced all their classes we can start from there if you want. Also the song is awesome
You are correct, but enjoy it for what it is, a bit of harmless filler. Tera could be ok, or it could be garbage, but until we see beta reports we won't know, so no real harm in something like this.

But I'm still on the fence about the game - I'd like to know more about the gameplay.

Its a nice teaser shows some extremely pretty graphics...however, Final Fantasy 14 is gorgeous too and its an abortion of an MMO. I'm going to wait till I can judge some actual gameplay

TERA is quickly moving up my list of mmo's to watch. I was skeptical about an 'action mmo' until I tried Vindictus...now I want an action mmo w/ some depth. TERA might do the job.
Even if the gameplay doesnt turn out to be the greatest at least it 's and GW2's is a step in the direction away from these auto targeted,hotbar filled skill type and more in the direction of action reaction aim your stuff type.
That just might be the corniest trailer I have ever seen, worse then AION if thats even possible.......Killer Pandas? G string wearing ninjas with 100 foot verticle jumps?

hmmph, I liked the trailer but I don't really like the game or how much it seems to be selling the fact that there are boobs. I mean, I get that all games do this but TERA seems to be making boobs a selling point. Why not make sure people know how fun the gameplay is...well, I guess you can't fit that into a hype-tastic trailer.

Nice trailer, but it looks just like Lineage II with new skins. Notice how the girls run exactly like the dark elves in Lineage II? It was a nice trailer, but it does nothing to make me think this is nothing more than a Far Eastern grind fest. Have fun with it if it's your thing though.
You can't hide the gameplay when a beta launches. Just wait I guess...
It can't do anything to make you think it's not a grind fest...especially when you force yourself to believe that.

I'm not saying it won't be a good game. Just awkward they are taking the big breastedes approach like a low quality F2P grinder would take.
Hmm who is Victoria's Secret actually marketing their product's too?Nothing new here get over it,if it bothers you that much dont play it.As far as the grindfest comment I pretty much find every mmo to be one just done in a different way but a grind is a grind,the only thing that reduces that is if you enjoy your particular poison so it wont be as big of one in YOUR eye's.
Dont get me wrong the combat looks interesting, Im just always leery of promos featuring 20 foot swords and half naked warrior women.
Those storyboards and concept art pieces at the beginning looked pretty good - they should just roll those into a manga so I don't have to play the game lol.
