Here is the whole thread.

Looks like a good patch imo. After that they will focus on more feats and more PvE if everything works.
Nothing enormous, but some good things in there. Looks like a pretty good patch.
Should be interesting to see if the time on the fledgling flag will be enough.

Should be interesting to see what is broken by this "pretty good patch"
hey, you know something "interesting" is gonna happen
Actually the last patches have been very good, with much fewer broken things.
like the missing mobs?
just saying
I recall a discussion about "game shapping up" due to a patch not breaking anything.. lets see.
http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/55661-announcement-all-slaggys.html Crafting seems broken
Many seems to have a lot of extra skills points and GM threats to ban people if they use them. Not to even mention the exploitable noob flag..
Wow, thats impressive. Its not the quanity of things they screw up, but how much they impact gameplay. That its still acceptbale 5 months after release is laughable imo. They shouldnt be breaking anything, theres already enough broken.
I win!!! LOL@U
This is what old Mortal followers are tired of.
When you go thru more than an year of patches like this, that instead of bringing the game to a new level, break some random feature, you end up getting tired.
This situation only proves my point when I say Starvault is not in control of Mortal, when I say Starvault doesn't have the technical expertise required to make Mortal succeed.
Like I said in another topic, they are a pack of avid UO players trying to role-play developers.
The only question that remains about this patch is, what else is broken?
What is the newest, the latest broken feature in Mortal Online?
Mortal Online is like a prostitute that tells you she loves you so she can get more money out of your horny pocket.
Also extracting does not work at all.
You mean like in this thread? http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/55661-announcement-all-slaggys.html
I think I am actually starting to feel bad for Seb...

Since I can not extract I have gone out to hunt. Most of the animals are gone again.
This is so pathetic that it almost feels like they do it on purpose... over and over and over... like they are trying to sabotage their own piece of work until there is no one left playing.

try looking up...

haha
nailed it!
LOL well the flying creatures are at least fixed.. They are just invis.
To sum up what SV has done with this patch:
- All characters have random 100-500 skill points added. GM Discord (part you can ROFL at) announced in third-party unofficial community mIRC that players will "regret" using these skills.
- Instead of reducing rate of fire of Shortbows, the rate of fire has been increased drastically (Welcome back to Closed Beta Machinegun Bows)
- Extraction is broken once again (7th time since release for those of us who count)
- Mobs have gone invisible, or flying or even invunerable (friend of mine who still play was roflmaoing how he leveled mounted archery shooting at an invincible non-reacting gaur)
- Players randomly explode when crossing a Node line (I was in TS at the time chatting to people, guildy just went into a "WTF!!11oneone" nerdrage since he was red & took statloss)
And here's the juicy part:
The new fledgeling flag (supposed to last for 4) has so far been running for 9 hours and counting on a char who is atm macro-jumping. Whoope-dee-doo SV! ))))))))))))))))
Not to mention an exploit from Closed Beta has returned to the game, but I won't divulge the details since the peeps who told me want to have some fun with it first.
Damn, you're fast cirsyndic.

DONT DO IT, MAN! ITS NOT WORTH IT! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
You can probably guessed I still havnt touched the game since the Epic (proper case is the key to that one) patch. Still have a sub until mid january though ;(
SV has given an update on the fix for this patch, along with an explanation, which can be found here:

Arent many of these 'old" issues

Wow.. fingerpointing at Epic again. Who would ever have guessed?
At least he posted though.. so that's certainly progress. I was wondering where Maerlyn the CM has been since he hadn't posted any updates on the issue or been heard from in a week on the forums.

Seems to be more henrik lip service, there's always someone else to blame. From Epic to Volcanoes... In the end it really doesnt matter, its still broken.
I win!!! LOL@U
Or, it could be that's the explanation for how the files were corrupted.
In his responses later in the thread, blame seems to be accepted by SV:
"A few comments though..
- Was the extractor bug not present for everyone? if so, is the crafter population so low that all crafters combined could be considered a small minority?
Actually this one was corrupt server side so all extractors was affected here, sadly. It is fixed and verifyed now (testing team) It was not corrupt on the test server with the exaclty same file setup. Making it tough for our testers to find out. They are actually doing a damn good job, they also get a bit frustrated to hear, "why not start a test server SV?" when we really do have dedicated testers that spend lots of time into testing it all. But not even you would have pervented those corrupt files on a public test server. A huge and sad misstake on our end yes, we will improve.
- Do you consider large sections of the world to be utterly devoid of mobs of any variety to only effect a small minority. You may say that people could simply walk to an area where there were mobs but that would be overlooking restrictions due to required mob types (due to needing the loot) or political restrictions (spawns were largely missing in the southern regions, due to the whole north vs south guild wars many people were essentially prevented from PvE in the south)
Since a large optimization on navmesh data some settings for some spawner got messed up, that was a misstake on our end and we really didnt notice all these areas untill it was to late. This is a simple fix we will deal with asap."

It's never as simplistic as some try to make it appear.

Wow a whole 4 hours to relearn the way most people think of MMOing.
