in World of Warcraft

I just logged in to my hotmail account to check for new emails and when I checked inbox I saw like 10 emails from noreply@blizzard.com. I opened the most recent one and it told me that my info was changed bla bla bla. I went to my real account using known link (not from the email) and checked if anything was replaced. My info was not changed. Was just wondering if it was a phishing email and if so will just opening it affect my account? (i didnt press any links there)

    Yes it's a phising attempt, a very poor one at that, and no it won't affect anything

    I'd show it to blizzard but unlikely they'd do anything about it

    I've deleted about 100 so far in the past four months from my hotmail
