default Dear devs, wake the hell up.

So yeah, new patch, new "nice" stuff. While game breaking stuff is still there and nothing has been done about it. At least according to patch notes.

Boomsticks topic came up a week ago, even though those were possible as soon as you re-added "possible to make handles only"... The "fix" was please delete old ones or if you don't delete them please don't use them on buildings. Yet you leave maces doing same damage to player placed structures?

Properly made "mace" can do up to 25 dps on a structure. Doesn't sound much right? Let me give you some math.

10 guys, 25 dps = 250 dps.

Gate made form ironwood, gabore and steel +100g deed has 70k hp.

70.000/250=280 seconds to destroy it. That's UNDER 5 minutes.

Lvl1 house - 1 to 1.5 mill hp.

15 guys 25 dps each = 375 dps

1.5 mill/375=1 hour to destroy.

Let's go futhermore - lvl 3 house (usually 3 million hp, but let's be very generous and give it 4.5 million). 300(lvl1)+500(lvl2)+500(lvl3)+250(1st expansion)+250(second expansion)+300(2 workbenches and stable or vendor)=2100 gold. 60.000 Ironwood (you can get 8 per woodcutting swing WITH lore). Tons of stone and metal. Quite a value right?

20 guys, 25 dps each =500dps.

4.500.000 hp (remember, this is generous hp for lvl 3 house) /500dps = 9000 seconds. 2.5 hours. Not bad for 2.1k gold and a ton of materials ehh?

Let's go futhermore - a Keep. 17 million hp usual...

30 guys, 25 dps each = 750 dps

17 million/750 dps = 6.2 hours.

Do you know how long it took with 50 guys to knock it down with SIEGE ENGINE? 18 hours. The most funny thing in this is that... 30 guys with 10 maces each will cost you less than a single siege engine, leave alone boulders.

Yeah, I think you get the point. Now tell me, why the hell when first gate was destroyed this way _a week ago_, all you managed to do is "fix" the boomsticks, leave maces with same damage and ask for people to be nice? When something game breaking like that occurs you take the server down and don't bring it back until you fix it. Leave alone how the hell you managed to let such thing to go on live server? Don't you understand that people are investings months of work to get buildings up? Do you think they are happy when they get destroyed without any effort at all? How many subs have you lost and how many more will you lose, how many more gates and houses has to be destroyed before you wake up and realize "ohh, this is a little bit unabalanced"?

How about armor bug? Yeah, I found out how exactly it works about a week ago after some chats with TheBadMan where I started to think it's actually a bug and not just "omg hax" bullshit. Make a guess for how many weeks that bug is there? Yeah... Quite a few. Will it take people to start running in leather armor with Oghmium armor sets in the banks and taking 15-20 damage from Tungsteel weapons on leather set with 3 weight before you realize that IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED? Because if so, let me know. We can organize such an absurd scenery if that's what it takes to fix game breaking stuff.

Frankly, this is my last rant here. I've had enough of them already trying to explain that stuff needs to be fixed before you bring in new stuff. That stuff needs to be tested before it goes live. That patches shouldn't be rushed. That SV keeps losing focus and doing same mistakes over and over and over again. How much longer it'll take before you start focusing your manpower on fixing game breaking issues rather than focusing on minor eye-candies and carrots on the sticks? You don't have much left to start doing things right.

Its the same stuff we've been telling SV forever and what happened to the "test" server?

I respect all of you that continue to pay for this game in support of "the vision" of what it could become. My only question is, at what point though do you say enough is enough? At what point after release do you expect a mostly finished product with no major game-breaking bugs?

A man is his own easiest dupe, for what he wishes to be true he generally believes to be true...

I'd expect major game-breaking bugs to be sorted before release, not after. Crashes, dupes and the like should be ironed out in alpha.

I think it's fun to go back and forth on the MO and darkfall forums. So much alike.

You know, this is exactly Mats point and point of frustration with the management and Henrik. We all know this to be true. At least with the Mats PM I disclosed we know that some in the dev team are also frustrated by the habit to release patches too soon.
