if the thing drops an item, the corpse will stay

so you double click on the corpse, and a window with everything left in the corpse opens up

if you're along, you can click loot

if you're in a group,  and you have the group options set to lotto, then you can submit your lotto ticket

items that are remotely valuable drop in chests on the ground.

some, if not most, chests have traps that have to be disarmed

    or felt through, lol

    there is no dropping things

to get rid of it, you either trade it, sell it, put it in your bank, or destroy it.

    No dropping.

The only thing you can pile in your house is furniture, which has the option "place"

Ya, your house is only good for furniture and quest trophies.  For storage you need to use the bank.  If you want more bank slots, get yourself some boxes and you can use them in the bank like bags.

As for how looting works in the lotto system.. I heard that everyone is "weighted" by the value of all of the armor/items in their possession when they submit a lotto vote.  The "lightest" (person with the least valuable stuff) has a greater chance to win the lotto than someone who's got alot of expensive items.

Not sure if that's true or not.
