Just got this game...

Free download on my Droid.  It eats power like mad, but it is very fun and addictive for downtime during work.  It reminds me a lot of Dungeon Runners.

It is a great game. I luck out because I bring my charger to work so I can play while plugged in. Great time killer.

this game is lame... I dl on my droid - played it for a little while then deleted it.

Most games for the droid are considered "time killers" as mentioned by another in this thread even.

There are so many more fun time killers than this.

    Sliceit

    Trap!

    Bonsai Blast

to name a few... although they aren't mmo's - mmo's dont work well on this lil screen with poor controls...

I was impressed with how well the controls worked. Tap baddie, tap auto attack, tap skills, works well for me on a Droid 2.

Only played a few hours but think it may keep me entertained when I'm away from home with time to kill.

Sig so that badges don't eat my posts.

Pocket Legends is a fun mobile mmo. As long as you think of it in those terms and do a few dungeon runs and don't expect too much it kills the opposition. As said, fun time-killer for a few dungeon runs and freemium price is very fair and accessible. There's even some pvp too.

    2 thumbs up.

But don't they force you to pay for new areas? I think I remember it saying like you get a very small portion for free

    Yes it's Freemium.

Levels 1-12 (? I foget) are free: This is the Spooky Wood area...

But it's been out for a while since March on the iDevices and the next batch of Dungeons are/were all discounted to cheap as chips... and some were in bundle discount too.

Basically you can enjoy 3 character slots for levels 1-12 with those dungeons and quests and gear and if you want more content then it's very cheap for something like 4+ more dungeons each with 4 sub dungeons. They also sell other stuff: Vanity, gold etc but that's all optional. You earn all that as you go along or players can trade/give if you ask!

It's only the recent dungeons you pay for Alien Oasis levels 35-50 that are a bit steeper but they will come down in price too. So play through the rest first would be my advise. Afterall if you don't like the gameplay you have paid nothing at that stage = win-win. It's really cheap for what you choose and it's a growing game with tons of support... must be over 100+ updates already by now... Devs really care for their game is good to see unlike some PC MMOs mentioned on these forums (...).

As for "forcing" well the mmo has to make money one way or another... it is a commercial product ;) and it's TRY BEFORE BUY.

I thought it was really fun.  Its sad that its just as good as the PC mmorpgs practically on my crappy little phone.

Play as your fav retro characters: cnd-online.net. My site: www.lysle.net. Blog: creatingaworld.blogspot.com.

    Id have to agree ;)

Found this nice little game some days ago and cant keep my hands from it ^^

What really suprised me is how smooth controls work (Galaxy S)

Btw id find the pricing model OK, you can get the 3rd dungeon with downloading (and deinstalling after that) some other games, and beside last dungeon you get the rest for like 5$ or so...

    Haha!! So true...

Great little game, but like a lot of mmos I find "Grind" half-way a serious problem so tend to flake out at that point. Might jump back in as it's been a while since last played... and stash my Plat for Blackstar (http://blackstargame.com) too...

pocket legends is a fun game to play when your away from your PC, another Iphone MMO that is fun is Empire Online. It has more depth than Pocket legends, Empire online is more tacticle based vs action based of pocket legends. Id suggest trying both out there F2P. But like f2p games they do have cash shops.

    There fun..... try them.

Waiting for:EQ-Next, ArcheAge (not so much anymore)
    Now Playing: N/A
    Worst MMO: FFXIV
    Favorite MMO: FFXI
