Please note: Receiving a Rift Game beta invite key is the best way for a player to be invited to a Trion World Rift event, but does not guarantee access.

Copy your code.
Create your free Trion account here and enter your code.
You'll receive a confirmation of your Trion account creation.
Visit RIFTgame.com/beta for additional details surrounding the beta events including future dates and FAQs.
A copy of this key will also be sent to the address that is tied to your GameSpot account.

Exactly. Basically, this ups your chances to get picked as I now have 3 codes applied to my Beta account. Each counting like a "ticket" to win a Beta slot. It's better than nothing, that's how I'm looking at it.
Sometimes they will release the client for download early, other times its on the day it starts. We wont know until it gets closer. Pay attention to the rift forums as the Devs usually communicate through them.

FYI Gamezone and Curse are also handing out beta invite keys (these keys only allow you to have a chance to be apart of the beta) i got 3 keys on my accounts XD 1 from the community on rifts site 1 from game spot and curse :-). if i get in i get in and itll be nice!
