Yep. Sorry to hear that people are whining about designers trying to make fantasy MMO gameplay better. From what I've been able to read, GW2 has a decent chance of being an excellent breath of fresh air in a really stale room. Innovation can happen within a well-established genre such as fantasy. It doesn't have to come from outside, such as in an SF game.
I am really hoping that nobody who holds the purse strings will rain on the developers' innovation parade here, like has happened with Telara and other games I've looked forward to in the past. I'm likewise hoping that the innovations the devs choose won't turn out to be bad choices. We can't pretend that has never happened.
